Notes: The purest expression of time and place. Blackberries. Peppercorns. Hoisin. Evergreen forest. Gardenia. Brilliant, juicy, and pure. At your secret escape high in the pine mountains. A wild creek babbles just barely within earshot. The fire crackles as it bubbles the braise in the cast iron above it. Distant thunder brings the hope of rain to scorched earth. A sky so dark only the stars light it up - this is just the kind of love you need right now. 96 points.
Blend: 67% Grenache, 19% Syrah, 12% Graciano, 2% Clairette Blanche.
Vineyard: 100% Estate – York Mountain.
Fermentation: Cold soaked for 6 days, then wild fermented in concrete tanks and oak foudre with twice daily pumpovers or delestages. 15 days total maceration. Fermented 43% whole cluster. Bottled without fining or filtration.
Cooperage & Elevage: Aged for 20 months in 225L and 500L barrels, 10% new French oak.
Alc: 14.1% | pH: 3.68 | TA: 5.7 g/l

2023 White
Notes: Dry farmed. Bush vine. Barrel fermented. Honeysuckle. Poached pear. Roasted pistachio. Sea spray. Caramel. Complex, textural, and surprisingly refreshing. The late morning sun warms your skin, once chilled by the ocean breeze. Otis Redding croons as you waste time watching the fog roll in and out. Hmmm…feels like the perfect time for a bushel of oysters and a refreshing glass of wine.
Blend: 100% Clairette Blanche
Vineyard: 100% Estate – York Mountain.
Fermentation: Foot Stomped and cold soaked for 24 hours before being directly pressed to barrels for wild fermentation. Bottled without fining or filtration.
Cooperage & Elevage: Aged for 20 months in 33% new French oak barrels.
Alc: 13.5% | pH: 3.27 | TA: 5.9 g/l
