Just wrapped up the first draft of our summer newsletter. Hopefully hitting your mailboxes (yes mailboxes) in the next couple of weeks. Not on our mailing list? Interested in reading whatever irreverent (or irrelevant for the most part) musings I hav
Today is these cowgirl’s birthday and 1/2 birthday (6.5 to be exact). Join me in wishing them a fantastic day!
Royal Nonesuch Farm - now home to Ramona’s baby bird orphanage. Today she added a baby wild turkey to her flock that includes the blue jays she found last week.
So excited that @hillaryyount is being recognized for her badass grape growing! I can’t believe how lucky I am to get to make wine from her art! So fun to see some of our great friends achievements recognized as well @mendonesianmolly @jordanfi
We have sold out of our 2021 rose, but there’s still a little Grenache Blanc to go around. Get your hands on some Alice before it’s gone too. Link in bio to purchase.
Thanks @jcristaldi for the overly kind (and somewhat ridiculous) words in @foodandwine last week. Apparently @tombrady found out and didn’t like being referred to as the Anthony Yount of quarterbacks…and just when @hillaryyount was getti
And so it begins…This is our 10th vintage farming grapes at the Royal Nonesuch Farm - and every year she keeps us on our toes. Yesterday we spotted the first buds to break, but not in the block that normally kicks things off. We call this bloc
Frosty morning pruning 42-yr-old Chardonnay vines in York Mountain. The sap is freezing just as it’s emerging from the pruning cuts.
Our vineyard crew got a little bigger yesterday. The girls got to witness the whole process…warning the last 2 are a little graphic.
It takes a lot to get Hillary and I off the mountain these days, but we couldn’t be more excited to get out and dine at In Bloom! We hope you can join us on Thursday, January 20th for a 4+ course winemaker dinner with chefs Kenny Seliger and Ro
Can’t believe this lizard loving farm girl is 6! Here’s 6 of my favorite memories from the last few months!
Merry Christmas from the Royal Nonesuch Farm! Got our Bay tree up just before the rain started.
We have just 11 cases of our brand new wine left! Click the link in our bio if you’d like to grab a few bottles before they’re gone.

In Vain is a wine we've been dreaming about for the better half of that decade, but couldn’t find
It’s a 5 baby lizard kind of afternoon!
Thank you @copiavineyards @copia.varinder @copia.anita for the INCREDIBLE harvest lunch for the @dennervineyards Krewe! We appreciate you so much! Fun pairing with dueling 2014 Rhone whites. @fontduloup @anne_charlotte_lafontduloup #rhôneathome
A little moonlight sampling this morning at RNF. Second pick of the season coming Saturday, including my favorite block - The Noble Savage (see pic 2) - headtrained, ownrooted, dry farmed Grenache. This block is where our 2018 Hokum hails from. #nofi
We’re very excited about our first harvest at our new “estate” vineyard - Mcbride Chardonnay. Hillary and I took over farming of this 2.5 acre vineyard down the road from The Farm this year. For the first time in its 40 years it wa
There’s less than 10 cases of the 2019 Royal Nonesuch Farm Red left out in the wild. If you haven’t picked any up yet, now’s the time. Click the link in our bio if you’d like a few bottles before they’re gone.
Such a stunning morning to release the 4th vintage of our Farm Red Wine out into the wild. The 2019 vintage is incredible: complex, savory, supple and elegant. Sadly there’s very little to go around due to shatter in the Grenache blocks.
